One thing I know for sure is that every mom needs to have her picture taken with her child! So often, it’s mom who has the camera and is taking all of the pictures, but is in none of them! As they grow, it’s so important for your children to see you the way you were when they were little. To see how you interacted with them, laughed with them, hugged them and adored them! I know, I know, there are so many reasons not to be in the picture, “I’m so old…I’m so fat…I need a tan…but, my hair” and so on and so on. Enough already! It’s time to have your picture taken with your child!

Our Mommy & Me mini sessions are the perfect opportunity to do this. These sessions will take place in our studio on our white background. We recommend very simple clothing, jeans, white shirts, white sundresses. Keep it simple and you will have images that you and your child will treasure forever. Join us April 16-17th! This is perfect timing for Mother’s Day gifts for grandma or you’ll be early with the perfect Father’s Day gift for the dad that has everything!

Dear Clients,

As the crazy, insanely busy holiday season has come to an end, I am overwhelmed by how blessed I am to know you! I am actually sad it is over and now I have to wait a whole year to see some of you. Thank you! I love you! You are all beautiful and unique and I love photographing you and watching your families grow through the years. I am so blessed to have this wonderful career and my business because it allows me to get to know YOU and to see that there is BEAUTY and HAPPINESS and PEACE and LOVE in the world. And that, my friends, makes it all worthwhile. I look forward to many more years with you.

I decided not to send a holiday card to my clients this year…it was just too much and I couldn’t get it done, but I do want to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy New Year and Merry Everything else that you celebrate! May you celebrate with your families and enjoy love and happiness and peace in the new year. I can’t wait to see you in 2010!

2009 Holiday Card Designs | Orange County Photographer

Introducing some of our 2009 Holiday Cards!

This is just a small sampling of the gorgeous card designs we have available this year.

It’s time to start thinking about your holiday cards! Time goes fast, and before you know it it’s going to be November and we will all be scrambling trying to figure out what we are going to do for our holiday cards. Our cards are $84/set of 24 and are press printed on your choice of watercolor, linen, smooth, glossy or pearl papers. If you have already had a recent session and would like to use an image for your cards this year, just give us a call and we’ll be glad to get your holiday card order going for you. Our holiday mini sessions are also a great way to get that perfect shot for your cards.

Please keep in mind the deadline to order holiday cards is November 15th. If your order is placed by November 15th you will receive your cards by December 2nd. Otherwise your order will be delivered mid December. December 1st is the final deadline for all holiday orders! We are sorry, but anything placed after this date will NOT be guaranteed for Christmas delivery.

In order to get more of you in for your holiday card photos we are excited to announce that we will be offering three dates/locations for Holiday Mini Sessions this Fall. These sessions are perfect for those who have recently had a full session with us but would love new images for that perfect holiday card, or maybe you just want to try us out to see what custom portrait photography is all about. Either way, don’t miss this perfect opportunity to get fabulous images for your 2009 holiday cards.

October 2-3rd – Park October 16-17th – Studio November 6th – Urban

20 minute session to take place at our studio, the park, or urban location
An online gallery and ordering with 10-12 images to choose from
2 – 8×10s, 4 – 5×7s and 24 gorgeous press printed holiday cards from our latest designs

On the road

I am out of the studio until Thursday, March 26th, but my assistant Lara will be in the office Tues – Fri to answer the phone, package orders and return your calls. I had a great opportunity to go to Europe at the last minute and I did it! How spontaneous of me – NOT me, I’m such a planner. Anyway, I’m in Switzerland right now and will be back soon. Maybe I’ll post some pics from my trip. It’s so beautiful here!
