Oh wow, has it been a busy few weeks here at the studio! I know that I have completely neglected the blog, but I honestly am just trying to stay afloat! The holidays are fast upon us and we have been swamped with phone calls with people trying to get in last minute for holiday portraits. Right now there are a few spots left for November and then we will be full for the holiday season. Please keep in mind that all holiday card orders must be placed by Nov 15 for holiday delivery.

If you can’t get into the studio, try a Hush Baby mini session! These are 30 minute sessions offered on special weekend dates at Hush Baby in Aliso Viejo and Tustin. They are recommended for children only (sorry not enough space for families). The session takes place in the store and is complimentary. 3. and VACATION!!!!!

I’m almost ready to go. Just filling some last minute orders and getting the last few sessions proofed. I’m headed to the Oregon Coast for two weeks to visit my sister and relax. I’ll be out of the studio from Wednesday, July 30th through Wednesday, August 13th. Don’t worry, Kimberly will be here on Tuesdays and Thursdays to answer phone calls and emails. She’ll also be packaging and delivering any outstanding orders. She’ll call you when they are ready for pickup. By the way, if you are thinking about a fall session, NOW is the time to book. We are filling up fast! There are only a few spots left in September and October, and these will fill up before you know it. Don’t wait to the last minute and be disappointed for your holiday pictures.

I’m off to a couple of weeks of pure relaxation with my family. I’ll be back rejuvenated and ready for the busy season.

30 days of posting! Whew! That was crazy. I missed two days, but if you ask me I am pretty happy that I could do that much. I actually really love blogging now. Anyone who has a hard time keeping up with your blog…make yourself a challenge to post daily and you’ll be surprised at how easy and fun it is to post new stuff. I will definitley keep it up, but I’m not going to be doing anymore late night trying to squeeze it in. A couple of times I was actually in bed with the lights out and realized I forgot to blog, so I climbed out of bed, turned on my computer and made a post! I won’t be doing that anymore, but I definitely plan to stay on top of it.

Session Availablity Update - I will be taking a few weeks off this summer and will not be available. My assistant Kimberly will be in the studio to answer phone calls, and take/deliver orders, but I will not be around.

I will be gone for the following dates:
June 23-27th
July 30-Aug 13th

Fall Sessions -
We are currently booked until the end of August and many of our fall family spots are already taken! So if you have plans for family portraits in time for the holidays, please call as soon as you can to book your session. It gets pretty crazy around here in the fall. If you have a newborn, please call us, we do save a few special spots just for you. Please, please, please call ahead!!!!

This blogging everyday thing is just about killing me! It is so hard to come up with new things to blog about. So today I thought I’d just update you on what’s going on at the studio.

New Studio Location:
Yes I have made the jump to a new location for the studio. Our new studio in Aliso Viejo is complete! We are open. Yippee! It took us three months to get it ready, but we are finally up and running. Thanks to my wonderfully talented hubby and his brother, it is beautiful and ready to go. It is so much better and gives us the chance to grow. We have a large camera room with many more backdrop options and a beautiful preview room where you will view your images by projection. We will now be booking in person preview appointments for your ordering sessions. I can’t wait for you to see it. I am just waiting to get all of my displays up on the walls and I will pick a date for the open house. Honestly, it will probably be early July before we get it together (where on earth has this year gone?). But I promise, there will be more details to come and it will be a fun event for all!

Schedule:
We are now booking appointments in July. Family sessions are picking up and we are gearing up for the fall family portrait season which should be a great one this year. Please keep in mind, you need to book your appointment 6 weeks in advance to get the date you want. (If you have a newborn, please call and we will do our best to squeeze you in.) We are so sorry about this, but we can only do so many clients a week to keep up the level of service you expect and deserve!

We’ll be doing mini sessions at Hush Baby in Aliso Viejo the weekend of June 6-7th, Hush Baby Huntington Beach on June 20-21st and Hush Baby Tustin July 11-12th. There are still appointments available, so please call the store directly if you’d like to book a mini session.

The studio will be CLOSED from July 30th - August 14th for our summer vacation.
