This was what I call a perfect newborn session…longtime favorite clients…super sleepy 6 day old baby girl… new props to try… new backdrops… and I got to shoot it with my sister! She’s a photographer too and was visiting doing a workshop for other photographers in my studio. It was so much fun to combine our skills and artistic eye to create some new and different newborn images. These are definitely some of my favorites of late!

I shoot this pose a lot, almost every newborn session. And every single time it gives me chills when I see it completed. I just adore daddies and babies together!

Busy, busy, busy…it’s so crazy around here! Spring has sprung and we have been swamped with outdoor spring sessions. This little guy took a long time to warm up, but I the last 15 minutes of the session he finally came around and we got some great shots of him running on the beach. I photographed him when he was a newborn two years ago! I just adore the curls…

There’s still a few spots left for our spring mini sessions in San Juan. Seriously, if you are interested in outdoor portraits of your kids, this is the time to do it! The location is fantastic with lots of great, interesting backgrounds and color and the mini session pricing is fantastic and is only available a few times a year. Don’t forget a cd of all your ordered images comes with each collection!

I think this is one of my favorite newborn sessions ever! This little one was just 9 days old and she slept the entire session! It really does make for some beautiful newborn images when you have the perfect combination – beautiful, sweet mommy, big strong daddy, and a sleepy baby still all curled up and new. You put them together and this is what you get…
