This shoot was a while ago, but I just had to share it because it is of my cute sister in law and her gorgeous family! We finally got together to do a shoot of her family at the beach. It was so fun to give them great family pictures and she did such a great job of decorating with them all over her house. I’ll have to post a pic of what she did sometime soon.

Busy, busy, busy…it’s so crazy around here! Spring has sprung and we have been swamped with outdoor spring sessions. This little guy took a long time to warm up, but I the last 15 minutes of the session he finally came around and we got some great shots of him running on the beach. I photographed him when he was a newborn two years ago! I just adore the curls…

There’s still a few spots left for our spring mini sessions in San Juan. Seriously, if you are interested in outdoor portraits of your kids, this is the time to do it! The location is fantastic with lots of great, interesting backgrounds and color and the mini session pricing is fantastic and is only available a few times a year. Don’t forget a cd of all your ordered images comes with each collection!

I had a beach session recently that was my first in quite a while. It was a beautiful day and the wind was blowing! I love getting outside again in the spring. I love the studio, but it’s nice to have a change of pace every now and again.

This recent beach session was at Three Arch Bay in Laguna Beach. It was so beautiful and the family was so fun to work with.

This family session was for one of my favorite clients. She really wanted the session to be at a place that had meaning to her family, so I headed up by her home and did the session at the Seal Beach Pier. It was a new location for me, but it turned out to be a great one. It was a beautiful evening and the sunset was perfect! I was glad to get the silhouette shots of the entire family at the end. 

I photographed this young family at the beach before I went on vacation. It was a lot of fun and they were so cute together and so obviously happy and absolutely ga-ga over their adorable little boy. 

This engagement session was so much fun! It was my first session at the beach in a while and it felt so good to be back. I just love beach sessions, I love shooting outside,  I love experimenting with different lighting and I love just enjoying beautiful So Cal. This couple is so adorable. I have known this girl since she was about 10 years old and I am so excited and happy for her. You can just see the sparkle and the love in their eyes and I know they have a wonderful future waiting for them ahead. Congratulations and I can’t wait for the wedding!
