I’ve been tagged…

There is a fun game of "blog tag" that many photographers are playing all over the country and I’m it!  I was tagged by my friend Jennifer Samaha from Arizona. So I am supposed to tell 8 things about me that nobody knows. Mmmmmm… then I get to tag someone else, so here goes.

1. I love to travel, but I hate to get there. Traveling on planes stresses me out big time, but I dream of going to many new places that I have never been to before. My favorite county in the world is Italy. I spent 6 years in Switzerland as a teenager and definitely got the travel bug at a young age. I traveled to exotic places like Russia, Egypt and Greece with my high school. Someday I will have the money and the time to visit new places like Australia, Tahiti, South Africa, and New Zealand.

2. I hate shoes!!!! I have really wide feet and can never seem to get the right fit. You will usually find me in flip flops. As soon as I get in the house – off go the shoes. I even photograph best when I am barefoot.

3. I love diet coke. Yes, I am absolutely 100% addicted to it. Not in a can, but the fountain kind, in a cup with LOTs of ice, a lemon and a straw. You’ll always find one on my desk, or in my car, or in my hand.

4. I always wanted to be able to sing and dance. And I can do neither. I have a terrible voice and no coordination. When I was a young girl I would spend hours in front of the mirror practicing my moves and singing along with my records. Hey a girl can dream, can’t she? You won’t be seeing me anytime soon on "So you think you can dance?"

5. You could say I am a neat freak. I just don’t feel right if anything is out of place. Before I can sit down to do any work I have to organize my whole desk and make piles and put everything away. It’s kinda OCD I have to admit. I also can’t stand a dirty kitchen. I have to do the dishes as soon as we finish eating, before I do anything else. You won’t find any dirty dishes in my kitchen!

6. I am the queen of lists. I have to do lists for my to do lists. It’s kinda crazy, but I love the feeling of crossing something off my list when it’s done.

7. I spend way too much money on designer handbags. I love Louis Vuitton. What more could a girl want? I have since I was a teenager and I just can’t help it. My husband thinks I’m crazy and that they are "ugly brown", but he is very sweet and caters to my addiction by buying me bags for birthdays and anniversaries. I am a lucky girl.

8. I have three amazing children who I abosolutely adore. They are the light of my life and I love to see them grow and learn and I am amazed at what wonderful people they are inside and out. Like I said, I AM a lucky girl!

Okay so here’s who’s next:

Julia Radlick
Darlene Tom
Kimberly Hill
Allison Tyler Jones

two brothers

Here’s a few from a session at the park. I just love the green grass. These two were the sweetest brothers. Can’t you just feel the love?

Back in town

I’m back from a long week away in Florida where I attended an awesome photographic workshop on studio lighting. I learned so much and can’t wait to try all of the new lighting techniques that I learned. I’m busy trying to get caught up and ready for October, which is the busiest month of the year by far. We are currently booked for the remainder of 2007 and aren’t taking any more session appointments until January. There are a few spots we’ve saved for newborn and maternity sessions, so if you’d like one, call asap! We love newborns and will always make room, so just give us a call.

Also, keep watching the blog, I’ll be posting our 2007 Holiday Card Collection in the next couple of days. They are beautiful this year, I can’t wait to show them to you!

Here’s a baby boy – just because I love them so much!
