A good laugh
This one is for all you moms and dads out there. This made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. I am off to a workshop in Florida this week. So I will have a few days off from the "family routine".
1 commentThe picture every mother dreams of!
Every mother I know would love to have a shot of all three kids looking happy, at the camera, and snuggled up close. If I had a shot like this of my kids it would be a HUGE canvas on my wall. This has got to be one of the hardest shots to get (3 kids together-one a small baby). I love this little girl’s expression in the second one and I just think the third one is cool!
That’s it for tonight!
No commentsI told you I was proofing all day
This has to be a one day record for blog posts, but now that I’ve started I just can’t stop sharing. I just loved this newborn and this family shot makes my heart melt.
No commentsMaternity sessions
are quickly becoming one of my favorite kinds of sessions! I absolutely love them. I love seeing expectant moms feel good about their pregnant bodies and sharing the excitement and anticipation of the last few weeks of pregnancy with them. I also love it that 99% of the time I get to see their new baby when they are less than two weeks old. To me there is nothing better than a tiny newborn who is still squishy and bendable and oh so very sleepy. Then I can pose them in any way I want, and get amazing portraits for you! Anyway here’s some maternity shots…stay tuned for the baby in the next few weeks.
No commentsa tiny newborn to share
Not much to say today. Just wanted to share a few from a recent newborn session. These parents were just so in love with their new baby boy. I’m proofing non stop today, so if you are waiting on proofs and sneak peeks, check back later today or first thing tomorrow. I hope to be all caught up by then!
No commentsAnother sneak peek
Hey Z Family, here’s your sneak peek – finally! Your proofs should all be ready next week. I hope you all had as much fun as I did.
Another family at the beach. It was so windy, we had a hard time keeping the hair under control, but we managed! I love the hair in the jump for joy shot – now that’s some wild hair!
1 commentSneak peek
I am trying to be better about posting sneak peeks on the blog, but I am still behind! AAAHHHH! Anyway, here’s one from last week. The busy family season is in full swing and I’ve spent a lot of evenings at the beach lately…not that I’m complaining or anything! I love my job!
This one’s for you C and K (and J too!). Hope you’re having a blast at the "Y" this semester!
No commentsThe bluest blue
Oh my! The blue in these images is just amazing, isn’t it? We had the most fabulous weather for this session. Often people really want the blue ocean in their portraits, and sometimes we just can’t get it. It really depends on the weather, if it’s overcast or hazy, the wind, etc. Sometimes I just get lucky and this was one of those days. I don’t think I’ve ever shot the ocean this blue before.
This little girl was so much fun! Chasing an 18 month old around the beach has it’s challenges, but the images we get are so rewarding. This is my favorite kind of session, because the expressions and emotions are so real. Isn’t she beautiful?
Update for those waiting for sneak peeks, proofs and orders: Sneak peeks and proofs should be up in the next couple of days. For those of you waiting on print orders they should be in by the end of this week. Thanks for being so patient!
